The thing is... you have NO IDEA what they are doing in the photo. For all you know they could be visually checking the fit and form of the pieces they will assemble. Who cares how far away the drills are.

If you zoom in on the photo, you will notice that neither worker's feet are touching any of the boards, so it's obvious they aren't aligning anything using their feet. The guy with the drink is too far back to be of any real assistance.

Nice try, but a Sherlock Holmes you are not.
