Hey rip, just one slight difference;

Wave still has a chance to come back, while many of the dot-com high-flyers have crashed for good.

Still doesn't address the opportunity cost, but the most money anyone makes in the market is by buying early and holding long, to the right stock. Let's hope this is the right one.
