Flash comes out of the shadows

Developers [frustrated] with the levels of flexibility and compatibility
in the established streaming media technologies:
Windows Media Player,
RealNetworks RealPlayer,
and Apple"s QuickTime.

Macromedia"s Flash has surfaced as an alternative for building
