Intel throws down the TV gauntlet

Convergence is driving Intel into the high-end television
market with a new chip, code-named Cayley. The complex
semiconductor is designed to produce images for projection
televisions and displays measuring 35 inches or more across.
This is going to be a huge market, and Intel has the partners
(Dell, HP, etc.) to help it enter a new market. Ideally you
could wireless beam you little handheld on the screen and use
the remote control to navigate while you watching your
favorite shows.
