In this case, I share mktplyr's view that Rees seems like he's be flushing a hard-earned resume by running a pink scam. Certainly possible, and I can think of many reasons for it. eg: Rees feels burnt out and wants a quick couple million cash out to retire early. But given the potential payoff vs total loss, I'm willing to ride the bus a bit longer to see.
