I just saw the most OUTRAGEOUS commercial, apparently sponsored by a government agency: http://www.ready.gov .

It starts with little kids asking what's happened, where are their parents, and so on. Then the announcer intones: "Is there any reason why you shouldn't have a plan in case there's a terrorist attack?"

HOLY SHIT!! What BLATANT fear mongering.
