It is my belief that had any investor, prior to Nov. 15, 06 thought that he/she was investing solely in a Windsor Mom and Pop lumberyard, this travesty would never had taken place.
The hype was SO convincing that even seasoned investors fell for it hook line and sinker. The ME deals were not icing on the cake, they WERE the cake. When it was divulged that there WERE no ME deals and that nothing could be verified, not even the names of the alleged ME contacts, this was shown to be the scam it was designed to be.
In order to maintain belief in the viability of this POS, one must abandon all vestiges of objectivity and indeed analytical thought processes and become obsessed with the thought that he/she could have NEVER made such a grand mistake. Maybe it's human nature to deny that which is so evident but at some point you would think that reason would prevail but obviously, such is not the case.
This has bolstered my belief that for every reasonable person walking this earth, there is at least one nut job incapable of rational thought. My only hope is that reason will prevail somewhere down the road but I that hope is rapidly diminishing.
When all else fails, adopt a mantra and chant Go SLJB Go SLJB over and over. Maybe, like Dorothy and Toto, you will be whisked off to Kansas. Better take your waders !
