Unnecessary Programs continued:
nhksrv.exe
NHKSRV is sometimes responsible for literally eating up CPU cycles, up to 90% CPU usage sometimes. So you need to disable it. To disable, go to "Control Panel \ Administrative Tools \ Services" in Win2000/XP to set this service to "Manual".
rundll32.exe
This may be a virus, but There also may be a valid reason for it to be on your task list. We will approach this program later if Ace, Adaware, and Spybot haven't already tagged it.
Wanmpsvc.exe
From Answersthat work.com:
Irrelevant to the VAST majority of AOL users, if not all of them. Some users, however, have reported errors with this service. We advise therefore that you go into "Control Panel \ Administrative Tools \ Services" and set this service to Manual.
Reboot again
Run Ace utilities again from Wizard with the "History" option unchecked.
By now, your Recycle bin is probably jammed. Dump it and defrag.
Run the pitstop tests again and post the results.
