Forbidden Planet is one of my (if not THE) all time favorite Sci-Fi Movies/stories!!

"That's true enough. But any organism dense enough to survive 3 billion electron volts would have to be made of solid nuclear material. It would sink of its own weight to the center of this planet."

I always LOVED the fact, that since the "monster" was created by the sub-conscious mind, it did NOT have to conform to normal adaptive evolution, or physics, or logic,....basically as surrealistic as you can imagine it....
