Bush winks at the Queen
Cowboy Monkey embarrasses America again
Excerpt:
Oh, he tried. He really did.
Bush managed to come off as a yokel during the Queen's visit. He stumbled over dates in his speech,
adding two centuries to her age by indicating that she'd visited the U.S. in 1776 rather than 1976.
And then he winked at her as though she were a waitress at the IHOP, then he referred to her as his mother.
I'm not a fan of formality, except for when the queen of England comes to visit. I mean ... damn.
Besides not being known for her sense of humor, the queen is beloved by most of England,
a country that hangs on social rules and all things uptight.
At least he didn't try to give the queen an unsolicited rubdown, as he did with German Chancellor Merkel,
who violently shrugged Bush's hands off her shoulders with an alarmed look on her face that said,
"Eww! He's touching me!" The German press called the rebuff "Bush's Love Attack on Merkel!"
I wonder if Bush lifted his leg and farted for the Queen...
