Kavitark Shriram invested 100,000$ in Google and then sold it for 1.5 Billion in 12 months, Tim Draper invested 250,000 in Skype and then flipped it 18 months later for 300 million, and last but not least BIDU the Chinese Search engine, Google invested 500,000$ which turned into 150,000,000 in 4 months from the time of investment to IPO.

These are all natural occurences for Tech IPO's.
