It's not even "their" words it's the ruskies and attorney's allegation, I don't think the investors in that lawsuit have a clue. I don't know if he said it or not nor why if he did. I don't see how you can prove that he did offer them shares. Huff's change of position may have been a "trust" issue but it was too late for that at that time, he'd already pumped it bigtime to the investors. It's all a moot point now, Huff is disconnected from the company (supposedly) and the lawsuit is being settled (supposedly but most likely).
Do I believe that Huff offered them shares ??? YES !!!!
Why ???? because of globetels past and mgmt's chronic habit of using shares like wallet cash.
Remember that overlypromotional and hype statements from individuals and companies are illegal. If you feel investors are being "rooked" contact the SEC.
