I repeat my former suggestion that going to the faculty Assn is probably the most effective channel ....its just my experience. You may want to contact the teacher who heads that group & include info on the Chicago snafu where teachers were compromised. In the district where I served on the board, 99% of board actions originated thru the administration & they mostly react to some push, or pressure.....like faculty, comformity to law & State regs., & occasionally even parents (usually even that is organized...PTA, maybe)
It is my guess that in the avg school district, the Public School Board President will simply hand such a letter over to the Superintendant's secretary. It may or may not ever gain much attn. or visibility. The Faculty Assn has the most clout & is "heard" & they will get consideration & an answer if they feel vulnerable.....all IMO
