A recent (2/26/2007) Justice Pumfrey decision that I don’t remember seeing. It is a little technical and appears to cover questions raised by the parties as to how “essential” is to be interpreted in their filings. As with most of his prior rulings he seems to favor the positions taken by Nokia. However, in regard to the final point as discussed in paras 76-101, he has reversed himself and now favors IDCC’s. approach, which IMO was a major win for IDCC.
