Perhaps that will be true...

I think it should be true that if someone with a reputation and credibility from a lifetime of past accomplishments becomes ACMG's CEO, it would bring credibility and trust to ACMG being a legitimate enterprise working toward fulfilling the business plan.

To take another recent example, however, reality & result contradict that notion somewhat:

At USSE/SSTP having a man over 50 with a lifetime of experience and head of IC Thomasson in MS (Kelmer Smith, a professional engineer) decide to become part of the team and head the SSTP operation did very little to instill confidence in those who were fearful or stem the disrespect from the hostile toward the company for hidden reasons. Instead, he just became another target for the worry, innuendo, and disrespect.

If indeed the new CEO is a respected former politician, he should fare better. Being a respected former politician is an accomplishment. And he probably will have a very thick skin! Sounds like just what the Doctor should have ordered for ACMG! If he knows anything about the process and business, excellent... if not, maybe he can just follow cues from AC.
