Beamer, > Richard and Ruiz seem to be antagonizing the forces of commoditization.
This is exactly why they don't get it and they never will. Their only way of dealing with commoditization is to blame Intel. This after they boldly proclaim that they're going to break Intel's supposed "stranglehold" on the industry.
What were they thinking? That Intel is just going to step aside and allow AMD to just waltz in? Or that AMD would be immune to price wars and commoditization because of technological superiority?
Anyone who doesn't see the hubris is just fooling themselves, perhaps because they have an inner desire to make sure Intel doesn't become the next Microsoft. "Anything But Intel."
