Just reported on ESPN...

In a move designed to eliminate taunting, the association that controls Little League baseball in Cincinnati has banned "negative chatter" by players on the field or in the dugout. According to the report, even the traditional "Hey batter, batter. Swing, batter" is considered "negative" and will no longer be allowed.

I wonder if the political correctness police would allow a catcher to say, "Excuse me, Batter. I would appreciate it if you would swing at this pitch. But only if doing so will make you feel better about yourself."

Sheeeessshhhhh!!!!!!! What is this world coming to?
