Thanks for the lengthy reply. I realize that we are looking for 10+% price growth for particular months. What I was referring to was further checking up on stocks performance by looking at the reasons for that growth. Anyway, I understand what you're saying about EPS and all. It does take some thought to get out of old habits. Don't hesitate to steer me in the right direction - I'm not made of clay. I'm here to learn and be successful. To further varify the stock, I'm going to check those particular months against the S&P at that time and how that stock was performing in its industry and sector. These indicators should give real evidence of a stock's strength during those months and whether or not the 10% or whatever is valid or not. These checks come from good habits and if their not helpful, I'll drop them too. I will send along my top 12 picks to you. I like your arithmetic on percentage growth and I see where you're going with it. It is exciting!
