That feature was actually requested by someone for the public msg version as well. I like it.

I would add a link to all full text results, a little google-ad type blurb at the top about the advanced search. I think we also need a full search box (subjects, members, msgs, etc) on the homepage. At the bottom of it, a link to the advanced search (like SI did it when they had competent management). I say we juggle the boxes around and axe the subscribers thing on the homepage.

The only suggested improvement I have would be to improve the apostrophe filtering on it and the standard version. If you don't know how, I'll get Gary to help you. <ducking and running>
