Hello Rick, I am afraid it might take at least a year för Hassan & co. to reach the Ampakines on their to-do list following the merger. There are so many things to do in a merger of this kind. Not until SGP has dealt with the new organisation set-up, personell matters (whom to fire, whom to retain, whom to move, whom to try to convince to stay etc.), marketed products and late-stage products will there be time to start thinking about the phase II products.

Hassan's priority will be to try to keep the profit figures under control. Only after he has done so, he will have time to start worrying about the rest.

He will defenitively not look at this acquisition from an Ampakine-centric point of view. He might not even know (yet), that there is such a thing or at least he will not know much about the program.
