Mom passed away last night, while I'm sad about that, I am also very relieved her pain & suffering is over...the last week was horrific, dad said he wouldn't wish this on anyone last weekend..I was able to see her last Saturday while she still knew who I was, got to give her kisses & say goodbye...the previous Saturday we visited, we brought her favorite chinese food that she had requested the previous Saturday visit...she was able to get to the table & eat her favorite shrimp for her last real meal, she was very happy about that...I got the hear her laugh for the last time & I'm thankful I got to see & remember her that way...I will be in & out this week...Take time to hug family as life is fleeting
