I received an explanation from IR person, Devin Sullivan, regarding the change on the capsules from Vascepa to IPE. Here's his response "the change was made to the Vascepa capsule in the U.S. in order to harmonize the look and feel of the capsules globally". He clearly states it is not related to an Authorized Generic product. After I read his email I called him but he wasn't in the office as it was after hours. My next question is how are the labels on the capsules marketed in the EU etc marked? IPE or Vazkepa? I never liked that word Vazkepa vs Vascepa. Personally, it makes sense to all capsules be marked IPE less confusing. Keep it simple people.
