I think everyone is a little impatient. Corps of Engineers requires all items of archeological concern be catalogued and described - even a shard of pottery. Just to get to possible items that will be of considerable value will take months and months of archeological work. If more silver is found, it will take a week of work to clean it, catalogue etc. Finally, diligence in identifying the wreck must be followed. If it is identified as a Spanish military vessel - all items go back to Spain. Hence, not until the wreck is identified as merchant or until all items have been recovered and the vessel still can't be identified - then it goes to Seafarer 100%. They really can't afford to sell any item until the vessel has been identified as merchant. According to my humble research. Relax - this could take years. Buy it while the price is good and lay off the shorts!
