This is why I laughed my ass off at the suggestion of any troops on the ground during hostilities. They would have to finish the job real quick and any suggestion of forces hitting the beach during that window was ridiculous. We have zero forces on their territory beyond what is allowed in H.J.Res.542. If we did...then the GOV would be screwed and bound. They are not in this instance.

So remember that next time the idiot news starts spreading fear. Because for that 60 days to be "effect" , there would have to be ongoing hostility for 60 days without a cease fire et al.

Also why the current cease fire wasn't all about "peace" ....it was for re staging, surveillance.....and legal reasons-that being the "war powers act". And if an agreement comes out of it...even better(maybe)
