Flip, thanks for sharing! Though not currently related to LWLG, this policy environment potentially benefits us indirectly and as a longer-duration catalyst rather than a near-term revenue driver. Obviously, the paper is about GaN, not EO polymers, and no defense procurement officer is writing a contract for LWLG tomorrow based on this piece. But the broader thesis, that the U.S. is going to pay a strategic premium for domestically sourced, heterogeneously integrable, advanced photonic components with no Chinese raw material exposure, maps almost perfectly onto what LWLG has spent a decade building. If the defense and intelligence community starts writing RFPs for RF photonic systems that require domestic EO modulator sources, LWLG may find itself in conversations that have nothing to do with hyperscaler data centers.

In my view, this article is worth saving as a thesis support document. The author's credentials are serious and the policy prescriptions are already being acted on at DoD level.
