Investors continue to speculate about an eventual buy-out of Lightwave, but I gotta wonder.... Is the company posturing to have access to enough capital to do some more acquisition of its own? It wouldn't surprise me if at some point, Lightwave announces they are buying somebody else's IP. They did it with Chromosol, when they bought the ALD tech rights didn't they? In my simple mind, it might be more advantageous for Lightwave to acquire more IP rights if it makes sense for the biz model. Personally, I'd rather the company not entertain any buy-out scenarios for several years to come, AFTER they have established a solid market saturation. Just general musing... 8^)
