If you really can't admit an investment going up 4000% in a year on no news is unbelievably lucky, I am speechless.
Do you know why I have doubts about longs' understanding? Because everyone has been wrong! For years and years: Lebby is king! Customer and foundry deals imminent! Major revenue and ubiquity round the corner! It was all totally, completely wrong: everything. No one predicted the slide from $20 to $1, just as no one predicted the jump from $1 to $10. 5 years on - still no customers.
The other major doubt is that longs are simply delusional. Years and years of being strung along on tall tales of major multiple catalysts, commercial readiness and imminent customer and foundry deals. All nonsense, and the guy you based your entire confidence jetissoned from the company under NDA. It was all ignored, denied and rationalised in a way only a truly psychotic cult member could.
But let's talk about the present day. You are absolutely convinced the company is going to be worth $20 billion (over $100 a share), but if I asked you to present to a group of industry people or scientists about why polymers will win out against all the new technologies, they would literally laugh you out the front door. You have absolutely no idea about the real technical and commercial hurdles and competitive landscape. Literally none. Yet despite that, you're convinced because you had a chat with the CEO. Delusional.
If you think anyone on here has the scientific or industry knowledge to make an informed judgment on Lightwave, you are in dream land.
