Years ago ( around 2020-2022) I already mentioned the fact that Lebby was approached by middle men to consider ‘ cooperation’ with AAOI. I was present during the dinner when this was discussed.
Lebby declined the offer, telling me afterwards, that AAOI did not offer the right technology ( later he would call it a ‘ sundown’ technology).
The share price of AAOI at the time ( around 2020) was well over $ 100 and dropped considerably in consequent years, to be back now supported by excellent revenue expectations for its product offer. Based on Lebby’s input at the time, I wonder if this will remain the case and if Lightwave valuation should easily surpass AAOi.
