Bigworld, Here's an update from Rick Rule on uranium and the nuclear sector (links below). The new NextGen 'Arrow' project in Canada sounds especially interesting -

But investment-wise, a big concern with nuclear is that nuclear powerplants are so vulnerable to air attack, and the resulting devastation could poison the well for the entire sector. The outskirts of the Iranian Bushehr plant was reportedly hit again as a warning (3rd time?), and the same thing has happened with the Zaporizhzhia plant in Ukraine. Increasingly, having nuclear plants can make a country extremely vulnerable to blackmail. It's also an easy way to achieve the results of a nuclear war, without actually having to use nuclear weapons.

This might be Bibi's strategy with Iran (?) - ie to escalate things until the Bushehr reactor is hit, thereby making much of Iran radioactive and uninhabitable for a thousand years. An exploding nuclear power plant can have a much worse LT effect compared to a nuclear bomb since a massive amount of radioactive particulate matter goes everywhere, making the entire region uninhabitable. In contrast, while a regular nuclear weapon can incinerate a lot of people from the heat blast, the LT radioactive particulate aspect is minimal. Most radiation related casualties would be from the burst of gamma rays, which is a one off event. Within several months the radiation level at the nuclear explosion site is back down close to normal levels. So bombing a nuclear powerplant is actually far more devastating long term.

Anyway, our fearless leader Donald is threatening to bomb all of Iran's powerplants, which presumably includes Bushehr.
