Not sure what point you're trying to make, but the high dividend stock universe abounds with scams and dangers. By using enough leverage or by selling options just about any company can pay eyepoping dividends (for a brief time) to draw in financially unsophisticated and desperate fixed-income retirees. Be warned especially of complex REITs that pay unusually high dividends.
