I hear you about all those sales failures -- but if the drug was just a dud (because you have to take 4 pills, or because you have to take it indefinitely, or whatever) then how did they get US sales so high so quick before the patent disaster?

If it's just that no one wants to keep taking 4 pills, then getting down to 1 pill might be a big deal...
