The problem was they said they had the documentation, But the citation in the motion was missing to that documentation. That meant the Judge couldn't just go to the right document, page, and paragraph to see how they backed up their claim of "fact". Because of that, the Judge would have had to search all through the docs to find it and then not even be sure that is what they were referring to in the motion. It makes the Judge work much harder and then may not be certain she had the right understanding they were trying to make.

I have NEVER seen an attorney make a mistake like this. And I have read a lot of court docs from many court cases. They may miss one or two citations, but never all of them.
