First, let me say IMHO , I don't think at this point AMRN will ever do a buyback.
Then regarding your mentioning the cash on Hand: "Having it sit there earning 3% interest makes no sense". I am quite certain that this is far from reality: Over 55% of that cash is invested in short term investments and I am inclined to think that they realize a very sizeable ( a lot more than 3%) profit from the $164 millions they currently have invested as of Q3, 2025.
