FilmFaster48 is officially back — and in 2026, the festival evolves into something bigger, bolder, and more culturally electric than ever before.

Produced by Providence Film Group, a subsidiary of Valiant Eagle Inc. (OTC: PSRU), and led by filmmaker and executive Dr. Xavier Mitchell, FilmFaster48 returns as a multi-event creative festival designed to spotlight emerging filmmakers, connect them with real industry access, and celebrate the intersection of film, fashion, culture, and community.

Running February 1 and February 22–24, 2026, FilmFaster48 has expanded beyond its origins as a fast-paced filmmaking challenge into a curated festival experience featuring industry panels, filmmaker labs, theatrical screenings, fashion programming, and high-energy cultural events across Los Angeles.

Backed by Providence Film Group’s active development and production slate — including feature films produced in collaboration with New Republic Pictures — FilmFaster48 is uniquely positioned to offer creators tangible career pathways. Select filmmakers and writers will be eligible for distribution consideration, an official film credit on a New Republic Pictures production, and a hands-on role on the fully financed feature film The Knock 2.

Designed as more than a traditional festival, FilmFaster48 bridges the gap between festival recognition and real-world industry experience, prioritizing emerging voices, cultural crossover, and meaningful access to professional opportunities.

This year’s festival unfolds across multiple venues in Los Angeles, featuring curated short-film screenings, industry panels, hands-on workshops, a filmmaker & industry mixer, fashion show crossover, award ceremony, after-party, and a premium closing brunch experience.
