This morning in my morning God time I ran across this from the study of ACTS and thought it interesting-----"it is the particular task of the church to present opportunities for the Spirit to break through."----There is much to be said on that statement, or thought on at the least. The church according to Jesus is the you's and me's of this world. Just one of my crazy thoughts here, the world is totally screwed up so to speak, countries want to control the world, folks on the right want to control those on the left , and those on the left want to control those on the right, basically our world is a real mess. NOW!! If you are the church and I am the church what are we doing to open doors for the Holy Spirit to do His thing. Our church population has become, IMO, lazy as all get out, we leave the christian work up to the preacher and the S.S. teachers. We go to church sing and pray then on the way another in a car cuts us off and down comes the window and out goes that famous finger. Brothers and sisters believe me when I say the nicest words to another can make their day, a pleasant thank you to the cashier, a pleasant good day to everyone you have eye contact with, and good things go on & on... I use to think the world had gone mad, the I changed my attitude and became a much kinder person, know what? My world now does not look so bleak......It is up to the Christian to so let their light so shine to help the Holy Spirit break through.------GOD BLESS and have a beautiful day
