This statement points to dependency on outcome or outcomes of some significant events. So what could those events be?

And Merck has hundreds of trials that could provide this. Yet none with NWBO's candidates.

In GBM specifically, Merck has a dozen or so P2/3s including:

A 750 patient P3 combo with NVCR's TTF/Optune/helmut launched a year ago. This is after a P1/2 completed.

Also, with recombinant IL-7 they are collaborating on a mid-size P2 with NT-I7, the improved version by some Japanese company (as opposed to Revimune's old version that certain longs drool over.).

For NWBO? The only trial anybody mentions is a P1/2 that NWBO is not part of and uses a different process for the DC vaccine.

Outside of GBM it s far worse as that is where Merck has been focusing their big guns (AKA, benjimens).
