In this post, I will outline why I believe that the recent video about the patient who was treated for metastatic HER2 triple negative breast cancer with a dendritic cell vaccine, was treated by a dendritic cell vaccine that was part of the Dr. Pawel Kalinski IP that was in-licensed by NWBio from Roswell Park and the University of Pittsburgh.

The very exciting news is that, even though this patients was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic HER2 breast cancer, she is now cancer free after being treated with this dendritic cell vaccine. The doctor in the article and in the video is Dr. Brian Czerniecki. Dr. Pawel Kalinski and Dr. Brian Czerniecki have been long-time collaborators, and they co-invented and patented this dendritic cell vaccine IP together:

This study is a Phase 2 study, that was fully funded by the Department of Defense (DOD). Here is the clinical trial link below that I believe covers this study. As you can see, it lists both Roswell Park and Moffitt as study sites:

The value of this IP cannot be overstated. The addressable market for stage 4 breast cancer is multiple times larger than Glioblastoma (GBM).

More importantly, this type of dendritic cell vaccine, combined with a conditioning regimen is also tumor / tissue agnostic, just like DCVax-L and DCVax Direct, it can be used to treat all or most solid tumor cancers.
