It’s also worth noting that on November 7, Dr. Linda Liau was honored for her extraordinary career and pioneering contributions to neuro-oncology. On September 17, 2025, UCLA announced that she received the J.E. Wallace Sterling Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine, one of Stanford Medicine’s highest alumni honors. Established in 1983, this award is presented annually by the Stanford Medicine Alumni Association to a distinguished MD graduate in recognition of exceptional lifetime achievement.
