The Oncology and Haematology Expert Advisory Group (OHEAG) relationship to the MHRA sounds very much like the FDA's Advisory Committees, which tend to be late in the approval process and provide expertise in this or that domain. Advisory Committee recommendations are not necessary, but are used for ground breaking treatments, when evaluating certain high-impact product approvals and for complex or controversial scientific questions. That fits with DCVax.
