The trial results submitted to the MHRA are scientifically invalid. That's why they have not been approved for marketing.



JAMA Oncology did not publish a peer-reviewed article based on scientifically invalid results.

You can argue that the results are not good enough for the regulator to approve for reasons beyond scientific validity (like cost vs perceived benefit etc.).

However due to the article the results are immune to your claim that they are scientifically invalid, unless of course you have more scientific expertise and knowledge of this particular trial than the authors and the peer reviewers.
