Walter: Lightwave Logic Partner Program – Next 6 Months Stage Assessment ✅

Here is a break-down of what Lightwave Logic is actually planning over the next six months with their new Fortune Global 500 partner and how it maps to their Design Win Cycle.

Here are the relevant sections from the Nov 25 PR about next 6 months of activities:

Throughout the first half of 2026, Lightwave Logic intends to develop a custom variant of its Perkinamine® electro-optic polymer material optimized for the stringent manufacturing conditions of AI scale-up and scale-out where silicon photonics chips are co-packaged with EICs (Electrical Integrated Circuits) and ASICs. In addition, Lightwave Logic intends to co-develop with its partner a technical solution optimized for 400Gb/s CPO applications. This collaboration will extend across multiple technical areas such as high-speed modulator simulation and design, product testing, packaging and assembly processes and the associated Process Design Kit (PDK) for electro-optic polymer integration into standard silicon photonics foundry process.

Note that the entry into Stage 3 of the Design Win Cycle outlined by the Company in prior investor presentations is provisional at this stage, and the formal product launch decision by our partner is contingent upon the successful execution of technical milestones related to Perkinamine® performance as well as achieving various other modulator design and integration results.

Mapping to the Design Win Cycle found in Investor Presentations https://irp.cdn-website.com/a5f8ef96/files/uploaded/Lightwave+Logic+Investor+Presentation+-+September+2025.pdf

Stage 2 – Product Design Activities ✅

✅ Supplying customer with PDK ? “associated Process Design Kit (PDK) for EO polymer integration”

✅ Support modulator design activities ? “high-speed modulator simulation and design”

✅ Interface with foundry to enable material integration ? “develop a custom variant of its Perkinamine®… optimized for co-packaged silicon photonics chips”

✅ Support product reliability program ? “product testing”

Stage 3 – Prototype to Final Product Activities

❌ Support product design iterations (alpha, beta, final) ? Not mentioned; not planned in next 6 months

❌ Support product qualification with end-user (specs, reliability) ? Only early performance demonstration contingent on milestones

⚠️ Improve manufacturing, process yield, and cost metrics ? “demonstrate that electro-optic polymers can deliver high yield products, scale to high volume production while being fully compatible with new processes and packaging tools” – early Stage 3 element, contingent on milestone success

Bottom line:

Over the next six months, Lightwave is mostly doing Stage 2 work ✅: supplying the PDK, supporting modulator design, developing material integration, and performing initial testing. Only tentative Stage 3 elements ⚠️ like early yield/process demonstrations are planned, and these are contingent on achieving technical milestones.

So for the near term, the partner program is clearly in Stage 2, with Stage 3 only starting once milestones are met.

I realize this is in conflict with your own assessment as well as the comment yesterday from Pro that Yves told him they are in Stage 3. It would be helpful for Pro to post both his question to Yves and the full answer provided.

Clearly from both the PR and the update the provisional status of the Nov 25 collaboration is very different than that of the announced formal entry into Stage 3 for the Nov 4 collaboration.

Please note that I'm not trying to twist anything here: I'm relying solely on the company's own words.

Obviously it benefits all of us to have the most clarity possible on what is happening.
