Roth is 100% your money bro. IRA is a joint account between you and Uncle Sam. You are not the main holder bro, Uncle Sam is. The tax rate right now is attractively low. Converting to Roth is good. In the history around 1945 or so, do we know that tax could go as high as 70%. I just learned it from youtube and very surprised that tax rate could go amazingly high.
