On X Jim Chanos is saying the depreciation schedule used by the Neoclouds ( Coreweave , IREN , CIFR etc ) is un realistic .
He says the GPU's they are installing will have little value after 3 yrs .
AMD , IREN etc think they have value for 5 yrs
My quick take .
Argument from IREN etc is I think that after 3 yrs the GPU's can still be used instead of the ASAIC's they currently use , for bitcoin mining etc ...so retain some value
