Over the years the shorts would always post that the company could not do this or that and then we would find out a year later that Lightwave had already solved that problem prior to the shorts posts (saying that they could never do it) based on the patent submission date. They always try to plant seeds of doubt.
Some examples of accomplishments that I can remember in no particular order.
Sure Lightwave was able to enter 1 foundry but they would never get another
Sure Lightwave did a deal with Polariton but a larger company would never consider an EO Polymer
A Global fortune 500 was out of the question
ALD protection was impossible
Cleaning the polymer to standards acceptable to a foundry was impossible
Poling - first they could never do it in that lab, once that was accomplished wafer level was impossible
Thermal Stability could never be proven
Photostability was impossible
Waveguides could never be polymer
Passing Telcordia Temperature and Humidity was impossible
Foundries willing to do runs inside the fab would never be found
Foundry Approved PDK’s would never be available
Foundry production on a wafer they said was impossible
100 gig to 200 gig to 400 gig with a pathway to 800, 1600 impossible they said
They would say that we will run out of money and go bankrupt even though the company does not have any debt
They said that we would never combine the chemical lab and the device lab
They do not like a level playing field but because of their lack of understand of the technology they would try and play with investors emotions.
Oh, remember the one about how the share price would tank do to the Russel Deletion? Share price then $1 now $5
They said that we would never make the Nasdaq without a reverse split. Bubble on the Nasdaq uplist took this to $15 and for a few hours $20
Claimed multi-mode was the path forward instead of Single-mode
Some of us fought them entire time, despite that they even convinced a few longs that they would be better served to join in their opinions.
I like the one where some say “we need to hear both sides” of everything when the argument was just a bogus red herring thrown out by them.

Remember the shorts saying that they did not need to speak to management or tour the lab to understand what was going on.
They are down to dwelling on single word arguments and personal insults.
Until now (AI) the industries answer was always silicon photonics, my friends that technology has finally hit the wall. It is apparent with the talent joining Lightwave as of late that Lightwaves Pekinamine is “Ready for Primetime”. Which continent acts first?
X Just Saying it is crazy how many things we have watched them accomplish and how many times the shorts were wrong. I have most of them on iggy but I'll bet they are saying, but X, well um sure they have a multi-billion dollar company with engineers dedicated to using this technology but they will never get another, tick tock 2 months left in the year.
