I've been done defending the company for a while but I feel it necessary to say their decision to target a heavily pretreated population is relatively sound.
Obviously we would all like them to have a first line therapy but the reality is that will never happen. There is a reason radiation therapy is the first choice. With other approved therapies available further down the treatment line the odds of unseating them would be low for any company as any new therapy would need to provide a much greater benefit than the current standard of care. Going after a patient population, in Marker's case, CAR-T relapsed or refractory patients, significantly increase their odds at approval as these patients do not have any available treatment options so the bar for approval is a lot lower.
Either way the company has still yet to prove they can execute any strategy so until that starts to change we are pretty much dead in the water. As it stands, Rose is still holding strong and clinging to anything she can grab hold of. ;)
