Finally got it done, just had to give him another $100 for a newer computer, cuz even though i'd reminded him twice - lol - that four years ago when Win11 came out we decided then mine couldn't handle it, and couldn't be upgraded to handle it he still said twice bring it up i'll manage it. Then as soon as i showed it too him he said "it's too old." Then my power adapter plug didn't fit this one, that was another day. Then he said you don't need a power adapter. Then he didn't give me a power cable. That was another day. He's a 70 year old Malaysian or Chinese. Seems we don't communicate as well as i thought we did.

So i have a new computer with Win11 for $290. A bar guy at the pub paid $2500 for a, think he said Macbook laptop and a piece in it went bad, when he went to get the new part he was told they don't make those parts any more. So guess i did alright.
