I'm sure this university did some deep research into Bioamber's bankruptcy proceedings before writing that one sentence on the acquisition, and it surely means that somebody bought your stock 7 years ago without telling you (or the bankruptcy court, SEC, public, etc) or paying you for it, despite what all the court records said.
