Thanks Barnie, so only hedge funds or other investors who are large enough to have liquidity and to find a counterparty and negotiate an individual synthetic contract to offer hedged or unhedged options. I'm not sure how any such bets would be regulated if they are, and how they would be require public disclosure or not. Could players and their counterparties create unlimited naked puts below the radar of all other investors? I have no idea.
