The questions isn't how many BP are lining up to discuss partnering with Anavex. The question is how many are making offers that Missing and the board think are worth entertaining.

A friend in a chat mentioned that he is concerned that a BP will attempt a buyout. and he wondered if the bidding for a buyout will be public
My responses are below.

Missling will control that.

He is in a position to tell the suitors what sort of a deal that he wants. I suspect buyout is not on the list.

Unless there is a hostile takeover attempt I doubt that the deal making will be made public.

The FDA approval is a year away unless Anavex gets CNVP which I doubt, Maybe accelerated and given the feeling that the EU approval will be CMA, accelerated doesn't seem to be in the cards.

So if Anavex goes it alone in the EU, that gives Missling a year to show market penetration and revenue stream. From that position he can negotiate a partnership or distribution deal. Those can be quite different from each other.

It is my belief that Missling wants to grow the company with multiple drugs on the market. 2-73 and hopefully 3-71 will be approved for multiple indications. If that happens Anavex could get big fast.
