This has been discussed. Dr. Ashkan mentioned that he expected MHRA approval to come within a couple of months. We don't know when his couple of months started, nor how precise he was being, but many seem to think that means it won't come until December at the earliest. Hence some longs likely sold for the 2025 tax loss, thinking that the stock will be at best dead for the next 30 days so they can buy back at the same price or less, thus avoiding a wash sale if they sell at a loss now.
